As you hear in Michael Bublé's song lyrics:
“It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas Everywhere you go Take a look at the five and ten, it's glistening once again With candy canes and silver lanes that glow”
Lisbon despite having spent months in quarantine, this December feels a bit like the month of Christmas. Of course, people in Lisbon have been careful, so they wear masks in the street.
But life has returned to the "new normal".
This Christmas, everything has come back, safely but back.
Streets lit up with Christmas decorations, Christmas markets in Rossio, and the much loved Christmas tree in Praça do Comercio.
Joyful people stroll down the street, Portuguese as tourists, stroll through the streets and alleys of Lisbon with their families.
As we want you to come to spend this Christmas in Lisbon, our team leaves here some places you must visit this festive season in Lisbon.
If you are coming to Lisbon, be sure to visit Rossio square, with its Christmas market filled with typical Portuguese sweets and snacks, you will also find mulled wine as other products and of course, you will be able to take pictures to share with the family.
The streets in Lisbon are all decorated, with lights and Christmas decorations, take a walk from Rossio to Praça do Comercio, and see our Christmas tree. Enjoy and dine at one of the restaurants in the Praça do Comercio.
To help with digestion, take a walk along the riverside and see the river and the 25 de Abril Bridge.
If you want to listen to some music, you can always go to Bairro Alto or Alfama.
Whichever direction you take. Lisbon is covered with Christmas. Come bring your family and relax in Lisbon, and celebrate the New Year in our beautiful capital.
